Arletta Howard

Arletta Howard 86 November 9, 1934 – October 20, 2020 Arletta “Leta” Howard passed away on October 20th, 2020 at her home in Dillon MT. Arletta an only child, was born to Theodore and Elma Wright on November 9th, 1934 in Dillon Montana. Arletta graduated from Beaverhead County High School and lived most of her life in Dillon. She married Harrison “Jack” Howard in Dillon at the First Baptist Church on August 19th, 1951. They had three children Ray Howard, Beth (JR Moore), and Kirk (Hope) Howard all residing in the Portland Oregon area. Arletta and Jack have three grandchildren, Darla, Cole and Jordan who also reside in the Portland area. Over the years Leta worked in various clerical jobs eventually retiring from Western Montana College. Arletta enjoyed doing needlework and other crafts. Arletta and Jack spent 17 years traveling in their RV with their dog Ryder. They enjoyed many winters in Arizona and Nevada. Arletta was preceded in death by her parents and her in-laws Ray and Esther Howard. The family would like to thank Dr. Madany and staff and the Barret Hospital Hospice staff, especially Cindy Yarbrough. At Arletta’s request no service will be held.
