Barbara Helen Gould peacefully passed away May 29 at the Golden Age Manor in Amery Wisconsin at the age of 91. Barbara the only child of Helen and Ell Moore grew up on Whidbey Island, Washington. Barb married Phil Funk and they had two children Phil “Skip” and Barbara “Bobbi” they later divorced. Barb moved to Montana and married Walt Gould, they had two sons David and Dennis. Later in life Barb met the love of her life, Neil Harwood, they spent many wonderful years together enjoying life. Barb had many interesting chapters in her life; she was a telephone operator, a nursing home aide, logging truck driver, and the operator of Community Daycare of Dillon. Barb had a passion for life. She was always ready for an adventure be it cross country skiing, camping in a teepee, or biking. She also had a creative streak and enjoyed making quilts, beaded jewelry, wind chimes, dream catchers. Barb was a talented writer who self published her own books. Barb loved God, her family, chocolate, books, and little dogs. Barb was preceded in death by her parents, husband Phil, husband Walt. She is survived by her best friend Neil Harwood, son Skip and Donna Funk, daughter Bobbi & Bob Gneiting, son David & Debra Gould, son Dennis & Sherry Gould, Neil’s daughter Kristy & Roger, grandchildren Jake Gould, Heather Latino, Jerem Gneiting, great grandchildren Gabriella & Turin Latino. No service will be held due to special circumstances. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
