Candice Marie Dahl
Candice Marie Dahl, 42, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023, in Boise, Idaho with family and friends at her side, after unexpectedly being admitted to the ICU unit at Saint Alphonsus Hospital.
She was born February 14th 1981 as a valentine gift to her mother Beverly (Miller) Dahl and her father Terrold Dahl. She was the youngest of four children.
Candice spent her first two years with her siblings in Sandy, Utah where they lived until 1983. Candice was two years old when her mother Beverly and siblings moved to Dillon, Montana where her mother had grown up. She attended school at the Mary Innes and Parkview Elementary School. Candice lived in Dillon, Montana with her mother and siblings until August 1990.
Candice’s mother Beverly married Evan E. Huntsman in 1989 and in 1990, Candice, her mother (Beverly) and siblings moved to Tucson Arizona and lived on Davis Monthan AFB. In Arizona, she attended Borman Elementary School on Davis Monthan AFB. After completing 6th grade, Candice attended junior high at Naylor Junior High which was located off base in Tucson.
She and her family moved to Rexburg Idaho where she lived from 1996 to 1999. While living in Rexburg, Idaho, Candice worked on and received her GED. After receiving her GED, she received her CNA certificate. She then worked as a CNA in Rexburg and in Dillon, Montana. She returned to Dillon, Montana in 1999 where she had spent the first 9 years of her life. She was in Montana until 2007. She also lived in Great Falls and Billings, Montana.
Candice moved to Boise, Idaho in 2007 to be closer to her mother (Beverly), and her brother Luke where she lived until her passing in July 2023.
Candice is survived by her mother Beverly (Miller) Huntsman of Boise, Idaho; stepfather Evan E. Huntsman, Grandmother Irene Miller of Dillon, Montana; siblings Aubrey (Brian) Zapanta of Tucson, Arizona; Levi (Jessica) Dahl of Salem, Utah; Luke (Nicole) Dahl of Boise Idaho; half-brother Evan Z. (Talea) Huntsman of Alta, Wyoming; half-brother Peter (Dallas) Huntsman of Nampa, Idaho; half-sister Teri Dahl of Idaho Falls, Idaho; stepsister Cheryl (Paul) Zimmerman of Hailey, Idaho, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather Gordon P. Miller; uncle Mike G. Miller; her father Terrold L. Dahl and half-brother Adam Dahl, and grandparents Lee and Vonnie Dahl.
