Carolyn Tucker

April 1, 1937 — May 29, 2020

Carolyn E. Tucker 1937 - 2020 Carolyn held many titles throughout her life. She was a cowgirl through and through. She spent summers bucking hay and winters feeding cows. She worked for the Forest Service and Battlefield. She slung drinks at Fettys. She drove the school bus for 25 years from Wisdom to Dillon - one of the longest routes in America. She drove all the way up until the Corona Virus hit, it was the only thing that could stop her. By far her most accomplished title was being a mother and raising her 5 children by herself, they were her world. Carolyn was the toughest lady and sometimes the most stubborn, those of you that know her know. However, she had a heart of pure gold and will be greatly missed by many. Carolyn had a short but tough battle with Leukemia. She returned to her heavenly home on May 29, 2020 at the age of 83. She was born in Leavenworth, WA on April 1, 1937 to Charles Dan Tucker and Mildred Walchly. She was one of three children. Carolyn graduated from Leavenworth High School in 1954 and moved to Wisdom, MT shortly after to work on the family ranches. She fell in love with the Big Hole Valley. Carolyn spent her childhood and most of her adult life on the back of a horse - one of her favorite places to be. Carolyn was preceded in death by father, Charles Dan Tucker, mother, Mildred Walchly, stepfather, Fritz Walchly, brother, Dan Tucker, and grandson, Tyler Williams. She is survived by her brother, Larry Tucker, five children Dan (Tina), Fred, David (Krista), Randy, Sheila (Jade). Grandchildren Christy (Jarrett), Meghan, Matt (Kursten), Otto (Jessica), Abby, Hailey, Kacee (Chico). Six great grandkids and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
