Chad Holland

On Saturday, November 17, 2018, Chad Gerard Holland passed away at the age of 75. Chad was born October 10, 1943 in Idaho Falls, ID to Ben and Faye Holland. They moved to the Grasshopper Valley, Montana in 1950. Chad graduated from Beaverhead County High School in 1960. He spent the next six years with the National Guard. Chad married Verna McLean on November 30, 1968. They raised three sons Ken, Koy and Koby on their family ranch. Chad passed doing what he loved working on the ranch and tending to the buffalo. He had great passion for family, animals, and sports. If you ever missed a sporting event (of any kind) you would receive a full recap the next morning while doing ranch work. He especially loved Dillon Beaver sports and Rodeo. He loved watching and helping all his sons and grandkids succeed. Chad was preceded in death by his father, Ben, his mother, Faye, and his sister Marge. He is survived by his wife, Verna, his three children, Ken (Mandy & Bryce), Koy (Denise, Wyatt, Tel & Faye), and Koby (Kristi), his sister Sonja (Russell Munday), his brother, Todd (Marcia) Holland and several nephews and nieces. In respect of his wishes no services will be held. We will be creating a book of memories for his grandchildren.
