Christina "Tina" Marie Beck
She was born on February 15, 1967 to Sam and Darlene Beck of Deer Lodge, MT. Tina grew up on the family ranch and had some of her fondest memories there, especially the giant after-branding celebration that included a live band (Bob Kovacich and his friends), incredible food, and lots of libations. She grew up riding horses and rodeoing, especially barrel racing, hanging out with wonderful friends and family, and laughing a lot.
She graduated from Powell County High School in 1985 and went to Barber School in her little red pickup she was so proud of. She married Tim Oelschlager in 1990 and they had two children, Sami and Shaun. Tim and Tina moved to Clinton from Deer lodge in 1994 with their family. Tina quickly learned what tight community Clinton was and made it even better with her bright smile and fiery personality. It wasn't hard to love being around Tina and she made some life long friends and lasting memories and impressions. Tina bartended and cooked at Poor Henry's for many years and then the Other Place bar in Turah. She loved what Clinton had to offer and the people she could do it with from floating the river, mountain drives, hunting, camping, sledding, snowmobiling all the bonfires and laughs. We have lost such a wonderful person and will always be remembered for what she gave to each of us! The perfect mix of sunshine and lightning! Following a road construction company, her and the kids moved to the Dillon area in 2005, where she ran the roller out by Grant.
After the road work was completed she started working at the Buffalo Lodge. She loved bartending and everything that came with it from smiles to laughs to frindships made. But most of all she loved being a barber!
She loved music singing and most of all dancing. She married her favorite dancing partner Scott Hedstrom in 2012.
She started working at Ed's Barbershop and later bought it changing the name to simply "The Barbershop". She absolutely loved taking care of all her clients building life long friendships and even did home visits for those who lost their mobility.
She lived solely for her grand babies! And loved being a 'granny'!
Tina is preceded in death by her parents Sam and Darlene Beck, her sisters Debb Sime, Karen Vergeront and Marilyn Weingart, her baby Anthony, her stepson Cody Hedstrom and her late husband Tim Oelschlager.
She is survived by her children, Sami Oelschlager (grandchildren Emera, Salem, Talon, and Tyr Parker) and Shaun Oelschlager (grandson Klaus) Heather Howell-Buchtel (Jeremiah)(grandchildren Deagan, Kendadie, Brooklyn, and Gracie), brothers Steve Beck, Brian Beck, and Doug Sime; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and all of the family of her heart that she created over her lifetime. She will be missed greatly and remembered fondly as she reunites with those precious to her that have gone to be with her lord.
