Daryl's life was marked by a dedication to ranch and farm work, and he ventured into private business focusing on agricultural applications. He also proudly served as an airtanker co-pilot for Arrow Union, a role that combined his love for flying and his commitment to service.

An avid outdoorsman, Daryl enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and attending aircraft shows and rodeos. He cherished the moments spent at concerts and with close friends and family. A quintessential scene for Daryl was watching football on a Sunday afternoon, with cowboy boots on, Wrangler jeans fitted, and his loyal dogs by his side.

Survived by his siblings Sheri Cooper Lien, Randy Cooper, Lynn Cooper, Jackie Lowe, and Kenneth Cooper, Daryl's legacy continues through his children, Raylene Rider, Caitlin Cooper, BJ Cooper, and Leroy Cooper. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Aliene Cooper, and his grandparents, Fon and Freda, among other family members.
