David Ray Gleason passed away peacefully September 30th, 2014 surrounded by his family in Bannack, Montana. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on November 9th, 1973 to Helen Sorel and David A. Gleason. David is survived by three loving brothers; James (Karen) Stuart, Jake (Dannette) Miller, and Timothy (Sandy) Gleason, and two sisters; Shari and Andrea, his best friend, Kayla Loader, and 8 nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Ray and Audrey Gleason and Helen and Pat Wright, his beloved nephew Patrick Gleason and his stepdad; Ernie Sorel. David was a very talented cook for 18 years. He cooked at the Banque Club in Hamilton, the Grasshopper Inn in Polaris and the Klondike in Dillon. During his days off he enjoyed spending his time with his mom in Bannack at their "peaceful" place. David loved golf, movies, music and people. He was a gentle soul that touched so many people who will never forget him. His love for animals was great, especially his cat, Mittens that he spent 18 years loving. Memorial contributions may be made to Barrett Home Health and Hospice or a charity of your choice. David's final arrangements are being taken care of by Julie and Ron at Brundage Funeral Home. A memorial will be held in the spring for all who loved David. His ashes will be placed with his cat, Mittens in Bannack.
