Diana Nagel

Diana Grace (Sue) Nagel passed away August 2, 2022. She was born January 11, 1935, in Youngstown, Ohio. Sue retired from Margala Salvage Company in Youngstown, Ohio in 1984 when she moved to Dillon, Montana to be with her sister, Hope McClane and her family. Sue and Hope’s mother passed away at the age of 48 in 1953. Sue took on the role of chief cook and bottle washer for the family. Sue never complained about her role. She was quiet but had a dry sense of humor. She was very caring to everyone in her family and friends. Since moving to Dillon, she was self-employed cleaning local business offices. Diana moved in March of 2021 to the Legacy Assisted Living when she could no longer live alone. Diana was preceded in death by her mother F. Grace Nagel, her father Michael M. Nagel, and brother George M. Nagel. She is survived by her sister Hope E. McLane (Ralph, Jr.), niece Rebecca G. McLane, nephew Ralph McLane III, several nieces and nephews in Montana, Ohio, and Wisconsin. Graveside services will be held at Mountain View Cemetery on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Legacy Assisted Living or Barrett Hospital Foundation.
