Dorothy Newman

Dorothy Ann Newman, 89, of Dillon passed away Friday, July 29 th , 2022, at Pioneer Care and Rehabilitation. She was born December 7 th , 1932, to William and Laura (Nash) Brown in Hamilton City, CA. She attended Hamilton High School and then married her first husband Bell Robinson and had two children Carol and Craig. After their separation she then married Norman Dee Newman, the couple then had their son Larry. She lived in various places such as Chico, CA., Orland, Anderson, and Red Bluff. She also lived in Agnes and Ocean shores, WA., before finally settling in Dillon, MT for the last 24 years. In her free time loved to hunt, fish, ride horses, and also loved to paint. She won every parade that she entered as a fancy cowgirl and always took home the biggest trophy. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents and both husbands. She is survived by her three children Carol (Tom) of Brookings, OR, Craig (Cindee) of Dillon, MT, Larry of Willows, CA. She also leaves behind her eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
