Duane Denny

Duane Allen Denny, 73, of New Braunfels passed away on February 9, 2016 in the hospital. Duane was born to Ernest E. and Erma Mae (Bourassa) Denny on September 1, 1942 in Butte, Montana. He is survived by his wife Nancy of 10 years and was the father of two children Ronna and John, six stepchildren Alana, Mark, Blake, Jason, Vance and Brett. He had eighteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Duane is also survived by his brother Bruce Denny and Sister Edie Bum. Duane had a love of country and served for six and a half years in the Air Force. He retired with over forty years as an educator. He loved Fly fishing and the Outdoors and was a huge Green Bay Packers Fan. He loved the Lord with strong Christian beliefs. Services will be held on Saturday May, 28 2016 at the First Baptist Church on Idaho Street at 1:00 pm. As well as a gathering at the Elks Lodge at 2:00 pm. Memorial donations can be made to Barrett Hospital Home and Health and Hospice.
