Gaspar Corona, 43 years of age of May, Idaho the Pahsimeroi Valley, passed away October 14, 2017. Gaspar was born on March 9, 1974 in San Blas, Nayarit, Mexico the son of Luis and Marcelina (Bobadilla) Corona. He moved to California with his family when he was seven years old. Growing up he loved to watch the Chicago Bulls play during the Michael Jordan era. He endured all the highs and lows being a loyal Raiders fan. He loved to visit his cousins and play basketball and give them a hard time. In 1996, he moved out to Beaverhead County to work at the Erb Ranch for the summer. He quickly fell in love with Montana and the ranch and rodeo life. He was married to Monica Martinez and they had two sons, Ivan and Jonathan. Following their divorce, Gaspar moved and worked in Lemhi and Custer County in Idaho. As a family, they ranched, went to rodeos and rode horses whenever possible. They enjoyed four wheeling and exploring adventures into the mountains with their extended family from California and Washington. Gaspar was always someone you could count on. If you knew Gaspar, you know he was never shy to express his opinion but would always accept yours in return. He had a great sense of humor even if it was at our expense. Gaspar's boys were always his priority. He loved them more than anything in this world. He is survived by his parents Luis (Marcelina) Corona of Tumwater, Washington; ex-wife Monica Martinez of Helena, Montana; sons: Ivan Corona of Bozeman, Montana, Jonathan Corona of Helena, Montana; brother Luis Corona of Tumwater, Washington; cousins: Dario (Danielle) Bobadilla, Dago (Gaby) Bobadilla all of Chico, Californina and Pedro (Marisol) Bobadilla of Willows, California and many other extended family.
