Helen Hileman

Helen "Marie" Hileman, 80, died December 16, 2013. Marie was born November 9, 1933 on the family farm in Gilltownship, Kansas to parents Albert and Alice (Bullimore) Roll. She attended Dewey Ville School, and graduated from Clay County Community High School in 1951. Shortly after high school, Marie married Francis Gwen (Bud) Hileman. Bud and Marie enjoyed their years together traveling the United States. Together they had two daughters, Valerie Lane Hileman (Babnick) of Pueblo, Colorado and Julie Marie Hileman (Ingram) of Dillon, Montana. Bud and Marie later divorced, and Marie began her own business in Pueblo known as "Marie's Auction". She found her passion working with antiques and built many great friendships through her business, which she operated for over twenty years. Marie was a lover of all animals, and enjoyed the company of a special cat or two most of her life. In 2008, Marie moved to Montana with her daughter Julie and son-in-law Steve. While in Montana, Marie encountered many health issues and was moved into the Renaissance Assisted Living, and more recently moved into Kindred Care and Rehabilitation Nursing Home. We were all lucky enough to be able to celebrate Mom's 80th birthday with her. She was surrounded by her family and friends, especially her beloved great grand-children. It was a very special day for her and her family. Marie is survived by her sister Marge (Clarence) Urban and daughters Valerie Babnick and Julie (Steve) Ingram. She is also survived by her grandchildren Dennis Hileman, Ellie Babnick, Wayne Babnick, Zach Babnick, Jennifer Rose, Ethan Ingram (Abbie Green) and Taylor Ingram as well as great grandchildren Kayla, Zach, Alanah, Toby and Ivy, and numerous nephews and nieces. Marie will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of Steve and Julie on December 20th. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to your local animal shelter or a charity of the donor's choice.
