Irene Nesgoda

Irene Nesgoda March 15, 1929 - July 24, 2020 Irene Marie (Rebich) Nesgoda passed away July 24, 2020 after a short illness. She was born in Dillon on March 15, 1929 to Mary (Malesich) Rebich and Joseph Rebich, the fifth of 11 children. She attended Dillon schools and graduated from Beaverhead High School. Irene moved to Aberdeen, Washington in the 1950's where she worked as a waitress for many years. In 1960, she married Jim Nesgoda and had a son, Joe; they later divorced. In 1980, Irene moved to Spokane where she worked as a telemarketer and in home health care. She enjoyed painting, gardening, square dancing and skiing with her many friends. In 2014, Irene moved back to Dillon to be close to family where she resided at the Bicentennial Apartments until her death. She is survived by her son, Joe, grandchildren Corie (Jesse), Cherry, Nathan (Heidi) McKinney, and Kevin (Joanna) Nesgoda, great grandchildren Easton McKinney, Hayden & Nuka Cherry. Sisters, Mary Norris, Louise (Jim) Keef, brother Phillip (Shirley) Rebich. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Mary Rebich, sisters, Helen McDonald, Dorothy Meine, Betty Reynolds, brothers Joe Rebich Jr., Paul Rebich, and two infant brothers, William and James. Services will be held at St. Rose Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at 12:10 P.M. followed by internment at Mountain View Cemetery.
