John Schuyler

JOHN B. SCHUYLER, JR. On Tuesday, October 26th , 2021 John B. Schuyler, JR, loving husband, and father of two children, passed away at the age of 84. John was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and has lived in San Francisco, Sedona and Prescott, Arizona. He graduated from Culver Military Academy, Princeton University, and the University of Michigan Law School. He practiced law for over 30 years in California and Arizona. John and Jo Ann began traveling to Montana to fish in the mid-1990's. They moved to Dillon in 1998. Since arriving in Dillon John set the record for the shortest term on the Dillon Planning Board. He also was a member of the Western Montana College Foundation Board, along with serving on the County Commission’s Board and other boards of directors. John is survived by his wife Jo Ann Juliano, sons Jay Schuyler, John B Schuyler III, daughter in-law Tracey Schuyler, granddaughters, Maddie and Peyton Schuyler, step-sons David Juliano and Dean Kannes, step-grandson, Logan Kannes, and step-granddaughter Nicole Kannes. In lieu of flowers we would love for family and friends to make donations to the University of Montana Western Rodeo Club and the local Dillon YMCA A Celebration of life will be at a later date.
