John Winterrowd

John Joseph Winterrowd was born in Glasgow, Montana on August 25, 1989. He passed away on November 7, 2018. His parents are Maureen and Matthew Winterrowd (divorced). John attended schools in Poplar and Dillon, MT, and Peyton and Pueblo, CO, including DHPH. He graduated from South High School in 2008. Shortly after graduation he moved to California, joining the Marine Corps in the Fall of 2009. Due to injury, John graduated from B Boot Camp in April of 2010, and deployed to Africa from 2011-2012. Rising to the rank of Corporal, John was a Marine through and through. John is survived by his love, Chrissie Arrastia; parents, Maureen Carroll-Halpin (Lee) of Pueblo, CO, and Matthew Winterrowd (Wanda) of Holyoke, CO; brother, Matthew Winterrowd Jr. of Holyoke, CO; sister, Destiny Carter (Jesse) of Denver, CO; niece, Zoey Carter of Denver, CO; step-brothers, Lee Halpin (Kady) and Phillip Halpin, of Utah; grandparents, Joe Carroll of Dillon, MT and Sam Winterrowd of Conrad, MT; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and of course his brothers in the Marine Corps. John was preceded in death by Judy Carroll Nash, Marie Belgarde Winterrowd, and Nolan Nash. John’s final resting place will be Dillon, Montana. There will be a memorial service at the Brundage Funeral Home in Dillon, Montana on April 13, 2019.
