JoRene White

JoRene Wickham White passed away surrounded by family on Monday, September 2 2024. She was born on May 22, 1929 in Preston, Idaho to Monta Fuhriman Wickham and Joseph Adrian Wickham. She had 3 sisters and 1 brother. She is survived by 1 sister (Karen Martin) of Idaho Falls and her 2 children (Steven White) of Dillon and (Trisa Hirschi) of Crozet, Virginia. She has grand children and great grand children who love her dearly. Her Husband, Orley Ray White, proceeded her in death.

JoRene grew up on a farm in Franklin, Idaho. She learned to work hard and care for animals and humans alike. Her love and kindness for all living things stemmed from that. Jo has been the matriarch of her ward in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for a good long while. She had always considered them her family and loved them with everything she had. We are truly thankful for them. It's hard to say goodbye, but mom left this world a better place than she found it.

We are grateful to her doctors and nurses at Barretts and Deaconess. We also want to thank Dr. Rasch for his care and kindness.

An informal remembrance will be held next summer to spread Jo and Ray's ashes and to celebrate times past.
