Karoll Jean Taylor

Karoll Taylor was born July 1, 1953 to Gordon and Margaret (Stilson) Irish, in Lewistown, Montana, the third of five children.

She spent her early years living on Horseprairie, west of Dillon. Then moved to Livingston, MT. where she graduated Park Senior High school in 1971.

She Married David Brinig. They had one child, daughter Sara. They later divorced,

She then married Ron Taylor in 1982 and became the mother of Blaine and Brenda Taylor. Ron and Karoll moved to Dillon in 1992.

Karoll spent her working years as a secretary-bookkeeper for various people and businesses in various place's.

Karoll graduated from Montana State University in May 2000 with a Bachelor of Fine Art. Karoll was an award-winning artist with paintings in local and regional collection. She always said everyone should return to collage in there 40's - it's a whole different learning experience!

Karoll was diagnosed with MS in2003. MS sucks but you live with it.

In addition to her watercolor paintings Karoll was a Quilter and she loved to garden.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father and older sister Connie Baker of Livingston.

She is survived by her husband Ron Taylor of Dillon, daughter Sara (husband Lewis) Christian of Dillon, daughter Brenda Taylor (Cory) of Belgrade, MT., son Blaine (wife Kim) Taylor of Cutbank. MT.. Grandchildren Frances Taylor of Lander WY., Paul, Lucius, and Mia Christian of Dillon, MT. Brother David Irish (Beady) of Whitehall, MT., sisters Rachel (John) Long of Clyde Park, MT., and Jennifer Irish of CO.. numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins.
