Kenneth Robert (Bob) Schoen, 78, of Dillon, MT passed away on February 22nd, 2018 in Dillon. Bob was born in Parker, Idaho to Kenneth and Helen Schoen on June 1st, 1939. He went to school at Rupert, Idaho. He married Anna Smith with whom he had 3 daughters and later divorced. He married Carolyn Darfler on August 4th 1978. Bob worked as a Forman for Francis Mooney and as a Truck Driver for Owen Trucking. He was later a heavy equipment operator for Coleman Construction and he retired as a heavy equipment operator from Smith’s Construction. Bob served in the United States Army and he was a member of the Shriner’s Club and also a member of the Elks Club. Bob loved racing go carts and stock cars and he was especially gifted with restoring cars including a Model T and Model A. He enjoyed creating special wood projects with his scroll saw and had a great love for exploring the mountains in his jeep. Bob is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Tammy. Bob is survived by his wife Carolyn, his daughters Debbie (Pat) Connors, Bonnie (Randy) Nowalski, Patty (Neil Metzinger) Darfler, his son John (Tami) Darfler and his brother Mike Schoen. He had 8 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren. There will be no services. In lieu of flowers Bob’s wishes would be for a donation made to the Stone Creek Bible Church, Dillon Mt., or a charity of your choice.
