Kimberly Jean Adams beloved wife, mother, grandmother & friend. Her precious soul left our lives way too soon but will forever be with us in our minds and our hearts. Kim was born on September 14, 1956 to Bill & Lois Keseley in Van Nuys, California. Following graduation from high school, Kim began working in a local preschool. Kim later devoted 26 years of her life working for Homeowners Marketing where she met the love of her life, Arthur L. Adams. Kim and Art married in December, 1984. Kim was a wonderful Mom to their daughter Danielle and eagerly took on the role of Mom to stepdaughter Tonya and stepson Kelly. Upon retiring from her career in marketing, Kim and Art moved to Dillon. Her heart was complete once moving to Dillon, MT. She loved everyone she met in the community. Dillon was truly her home. Kim and Art purchased the Klondike in February of 2006. They loved owning the restaurant and together they facilitated many community events and fundraisers. Kim’s favorite events were the Labor Day golf tournaments with proceeds donated to the Dillon Volunteer Fire Department. After the sale of the Klondike in February of 2011, Kim worked for Allen Landscaping. Yet, Kim really found her niche with the people of the community when she began checking at Safeway. While employed at Safeway, Kim received many accolades from her long list of dedicated customers, as well as written recognition from Safeway's corporate headquarters. Kim was the life of the party and was truly loved by everyone she met. She enjoyed playing cribbage, watching her beloved Los Angeles Kings play hockey and playing on her computer. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and loved her kitty cats Mia & Dillon. Kim fought with courage the debilitating disease, A.L.S. (Lou Gherigs) and was surrounded by her close family when she passed away on January 16, 2020. Kim will be missed by everyone and those who knew her will always remember her beautiful smile. She had a great attitude and a wonderful sense of humor. One of her favorite sayings was, "Quit your WABing". Kim is survived by her husband Art Adams, daughter Danielle Dansie (Ty), grandchildren Ailsyn and Gotham, daughter Tonya Tolon (Destine), granddaughter Ellyanah, son Kelly Adams (Lori), sister Denise Mitchell (Doug), nephews Dean and Daniel Mitchell (Natalie), great niece Grace, great nephew Luke, niece Amy Tennies, great niece Ava, brother-in-law Jerry Tennies, and sister-in-law Victoria Tomaryn (Peter). She is preceded in death by her parents Bill and Lois Keseley, grandson Shane Jr, sister Cindy, and nephew Andrew. Our family would like to thank all the staff at Barrett Hospital and Hospice for their compassion, love, support, and care until the very end. We especially want to thank Deb Hursh. Kim LOVED her and she has been our rock through everything. There will be a mass at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church on January 27, 2020 at 12:10pm with reception to follow directly after. In lieu of follows, please donate to the ALS Foundation to help find a cure.
