Lindy Walker

January 3, 1978 — May 19, 2019

Lindy Margaret Dalimata-Walker passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019 at her home in Dillon, MT at the age of 41. Lindy is survived by her husband and daughter, Brian and Aspen Walker; her parents, Mark Dalimata and Diane Asay. She is also survived by siblings, Jennifer (Bob) Niles; Chris (Tausha) Holden; Lisa (Chris) Soignet; Eric Holden; Nora-Mae Dalimata; Ryan (Lauren) Dalimata; Kelsey (Barry) Hagan; Daniel Asay; Errick Asay; Mark (Kayla) Dalimata. Her surviving paternal grandparents are John and Ruthie Dalimata, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Lindy was born on January 3, 1978 in Kalispell, Montana to Mark Dalimata and Diane Asay. She graduated from Huntley Project High School in 1996. After a career in forestry with the U.S. Forest Service she pursued her passion for humanity by obtaining a nursing degree from Montana Tech in 2011. While completing her nursing certificate, she and her husband, Brian, welcomed their daughter, Aspen Lynn, into the world. Nursing was truly her passion and this was embodied in the way she lived her life. Growing and cultivating all forms of life brought her great joy – this was evident in her multiple community service projects, as well as her personal garden and greenhouses which she used to nurture her family and friends. Lindy was seen as a safe haven for all walks of life. She had a nurturing soul and was always willing to provide insight, leadership, compassion, and humor to all who sought her company. Lindy was a well-rounded individual who would fill your soul with advice on anything from how to grow artichokes in Montana to how to properly skin an elk. A visitation is scheduled for Thursday, May 23, from 6-8pm at Brundage Funeral Home in Dillon, MT. All family, friends, and community members are invited.
