Martha Ann Redman, 81, passed away September 4 at Barrett Hospital in Dillon MT. Graveside Services will be held at Quartz Hill Cemetery on Thursday, September 8 at 2:00 PM. Martha Ann was born in November 14, 1934 to Ruth Eva and Peter Joseph Cullen. They divorced and Martha was raised by Ruth and Theodore May (her Daddy). Martha attended grade school in Dewey and Butte. She attended high school at Butte High, graduating in 1951, at the age of 16. In 1953 Martha was united in marriage to Fred Girard. They later divorced. In 1961 Martha married Charles Deputy. They also divorced. In 1983 Martha met the love of her life, Daniel Regan, who remained her rock until the she passed away. Martha is survived by her lifelong partner Dan Regan. Her children Butch (Sandy) Girard, Ruthanne (Jim) Rouse, Laurie Girard, Georgia (Doug) Pettit, Lisa (Scott) Tessum, step-children Celestine (Bob) Becky and Bryan Coffey, her sisters Donna Best and Linda (Coy) Hyde, 22 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, her two boys Snoops and Putz, and many treasured friends. Martha is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved son Chuck Deputy, her sister Cathy Harless, and her favorite Uncle Richard Hummel. In Mom’s own words, “I love spending time with my family, I like to cook, tie fleece blankets, crossword puzzles, and taking rides in the mountains. I’m happiest in my kitchen!” Mom was strong in her convictions and deeply devoted to her family. She had a deep belief in her Catholic Faith and practiced it daily. She will be forever missed in the lives of those she touched. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shodair Children’s Hospital or the charity of your choice.
