Mary Joann Alley

1930-2023

Mary Joann Alley died peacefully on December 12th 2023.

Mom was 93 years old. Born on August 29th 1930 to Harry and Jessie Renz in Dillon, Mt. Mom spent her younger years living at the family Mine on French Creek above Argenta, Mt. She attended schools in Dillon, and graduated from Beaverhead County High School in May 1949. Later that year she married Donald Alley on September 30th 1949. They had four children.

Joann is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son Donald Jr. and grandson, Ryan Hawk.

She is survived by her three daughters, Brenda Hawk, Carol (LeRoy) Crawford and Debbie (Rich) Bourassa, also five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

We would like to thank Pioneer Care and Rehab for the excellent and compassionate care they gave our Mom the last three years.
