Michele Louise Blanchard, age 71, passed away Monday, May 30, 2016 in Dillon, Montana. Michele was born in Stockton, California to John Nicholas Bisbikis and Marjorie Louise Fish on March 18, 1945. Michele graduated from Stag High School and finished 2 years at Delta Jr. College in Stockton. She retired after 30 years of dedicated work to Pacific Bell Phone Company. Michele met William E. Blanchard in Stockton, California and spent the better part of 30 years happily married to him. William and Michele moved to Montana about 13 years ago, where she developed a place for Montana in her heart. Michele was an amazing crafter; she loved to sew and was a great seamstress. Among the things she loved were hunting, fishing, animals, and Montana. Michele was an exceptional artist and loved to paint. There probably wasn’t an animal that she came across that she didn’t name, even the wild geese that stayed in her yard. Michele was preceded in death by her parents John Nicholas Bisbikis and Marjorie Louise Fish. She is survived by her husband William E. Blanchard and sister Joanne Bisbikis Anderson. Michele will be placed to rest at Lima Cemetery, in Lima, Montana.
