Norah Richardson Owen Elliott On August 9, 2019 Norah went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Born December 31, 1929 to Marie and Walter Richardson, she went to grade school in Bannack, Montana. Norah graduated from high school in 1947. In 1948 she married Bennett Owen. From that union five children Glen, Georgia, Peggy, Trish and Curt. She attended Western Montana University then worked at Roberts Food, Terry’s IGA, then Paul’s Motor Company. In 1994 Norah married Don Elliott. They shared 31 years of retired life, and especially enjoyed many winters at their home in Yuma, Arizona. She is preceded in death by brothers and sisters Charlie Richardson, Ruth (Sis) Sinclair, Donald (Ding) Richardson, Henry (Heinie) Richardson, Jim (Swede) Richardson, and Janet Richardson Also preceeding her in death was her son Glen Owen and 2 grandchildren, Ryan Vialpando and Vanna Owen. She is survived by her children Georgia Owen, Peggy (Bob) Marquardt, Trish (Wayne) Vialpondo, Curt (Natalie) Owen. Also surviving are her sisters, Patty (Russell) Peterson, Barbara (Neil) Benson, and Donna (Don) Rudy. Numerous grandchildren, great grand children and a great-great grandaughter loved her dearly also. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at her home on Monday, August, 19th at 1:00 pm (110 E. Cornell Street, Dillon, Montana). Her ashes will be spread in the town of her birth, Bannack. She would want you to live life to its fullest and to remember above all, “be kind“.
