Patricia A. Foust, age 76, of Dillon, Montana, peacefully passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Patricia was born on February 28, 1946 in Beach, North Dakota to parents Peter H. and Thresa (Kremer) Schieffer. Her family moved to Wibaux, Montana, where she attended school and graduated from the Wibaux County High School. On September 12, 1964, she married her High School sweetheart and the love of her life, Curtis D. Foust. They lived in Billings, Montana for a short time and then moved to Glendive where they lived and raised their three children. In 1999, they moved and retired in Dillon, Montana. While in Glendive, Patricia worked as a cook at the Glendive Hospital, as a bookkeeper at Fladmo’s CPA firm, and as an administrator for Action for Eastern MT – Head Start Program. In Dillon, she also worked as a cook at the Barrett Hospital. Patricia’s true passion was spending time with and caring for her family and friends. She was a very compassionate person. When Curt’s mother, Rhoda, was no longer able to care for herself, Patricia asked her to move in with them, where she cared for Rhoda until she passed away. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed hosting the whole family at her house so they could all be together. She never forgot a birthday, with a card for her children, grandchildren, family and friends. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Sylvester, Tony, Hank, and Pete; and sisters Catherine Rogers, Cecelia Erickson, and Agnes Berg. Patricia is survived by her husband Curt; daughters Alison (John) Conner of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Charity Goodnature of Westminster, Colorado; and son Greg (Yasmin Duran) Foust of Scottsdale, Arizona; four grandchildren, Layne (Frances) Conner, Erin Conner, Jackson Goodnature, and Jaden Goodnature; and great-grandchild Caroline Teske. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Brundage Funeral Home (300 S. Atlantic St) in Dillon, Mt. Burial to follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Dillon, Mt.
