Richard Pinto

Richard Manuel Pinto, 80 of Dillon, Montana passed away at his home on June 21, 2017. Richard was born in Mt. Vernon, New York on March 9, 1937 to Manuel and Maria Froias Pinto. He was married on April 10, 1960 in Chula Vista, California to JoAnn R. Docherty. Richard was a carpenter by trade for 45 years, but his passion was fishing, hunting, and anything involving the outdoors. He was also involved in the community through the Knights of Columbus and the Catholic Church and donated much of his time to his community. Richard and JoAnn relocated to Dillon in 2009 and fell in love with the area. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn, sons; Rock, Rick and Raul, 4 grandchildren; Austin, Nick, Luke, and Garrett and one great grandchild Halie. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends. There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated on July 10th at 12:10 PM at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.
