Richard Shepherd

Richard Shepherd serenely passed away at home on January 8, 2015.  He was born to Eda and John "Jack" Shepherd on March 18, 1942 and lived in Jackson all of his life.  Richard was married to his best friend Shirley Boehning for fifty four years.  They had two children Sheila Annalee and David Bruce. Richard is survived by wife Shirley, daughter Sheila, grandson Toby, granddaughters Kayla (Evan, Ben, Knox and Roman) Peacock, Nicole Shepherd and Roxy Owen, brother Lee (Susie, Shawn, Trina and Travis) Shepherd and sister Salle (Steve, Sonia and John) Banning. Receiving Richard into the Kingdom of Heaven were his parents and his son David. Services will be held at the Jackson Hot Springs Lodge on Tuesday, January 13 at 1:00 PM. The family wishes that in place of flowers, all donations be made to the Jackson Fire Department or a charity of choice.
