Richard Williams

Richard Williams was born on February 21, 1938 in Fort Bragg, CA to Glenn and Marge (Breen) Williams.

He was married two times, first to Bonnie Blair of Fortuna, CA, and later to Linda McKenzie(Day) of Ukiah, CA. Richard also spent decades of his life in relationships with Penny Graham until her passing, and Marlene Hughes until her passing. He is survived by his 4 daughters; Mona Williams of Mendocino, CA, Donna Williams of Kentucky, Cindy Bower of Willits, CA and Holly Williams of Lakeport, CA along with his son, Geoff Williams of Dillon, MT. He had two step sons he assisted in raising, John Graham of Indio, CA and David Day of Durham, CA. He is further survived by his brother, Gary Breen of Willits, CA.

Richard owned and operated a logging business on the north coast of California for 35 years. Falling timber and cutting wood was his passion until his final years. He always enjoyed eating sweets and was known to say he'd eat anything that tasted like ice-cream. He enjoyed classic cars, gambling, mining, old western movies and putting together puzzles.

He spent the first 83 years of his life in Northern California where he spent his time logging, racing boats and dune buggies, and raising his family. He later moved with his son and family to Montana. He enjoyed the open space of MT and spent an entire season splitting wood at the age of 84. He was a man of large stature, but with that came a kind heart.

Services for Richard Williams will be held in Willits, CA at a later date.
