Ronnie Norris

Ronnie Wade Norris, 79, of Dillon, passed away peacefully at home on June 30 th . After spending his youth in Melrose at the age of 17, Ronnie joined the Marines with 4 friends. When he returned home, he spent time as an underground miner, road construction and time with the railroad before starting his life long career as a barber. You could find him in the barber shop, golfing or spending time with friends and family. He is survived by his sister Judy Jill Norris; his children Lisa (Leo) Jemenez, Randy (Alison) Norris, Jamie Norris and Tonya (Travis) Hauck, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and life long friends. A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday July 6 th at the Brundage Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at the Church of the Big Hole in Melrose on Thursday July 7 th at 1:00 pm with Military Honor graveside services. Please join the family for a celebration of Ronnie’s life at The Melrose Bar (formerly known as Lively’s) following the services.
