Sally Richardson

Sally Joan (Lutzow) Richardson died peacefully on March 26, 2021 in her home in Dillon, MT. Sally lived 83 great years and was ready to journey on. Sally was born in Lone Pine, CA and lived most of her life in Independence, CA. She retired from the County of Inyo after many years of service. Sally graciously relocated to Montana in 2017 to live near family. Sally will be remembered as a most generous and caring mother and a friend to laugh with, confide in and complain to. Sally loved all animals, never meeting one she didn't like. She undoubtedly has been welcomed across by a herd of furry friends. Sally is survived by her daughter Cindy (Jim) Yarbrough of Dillon, MT. Sally was preceded in death by Baby Boy Richardson and her parents Wilbur and Beth Lutzow. Special thanks to Sally's friends Margaret Mairs of Independence, Cathy Shinkle of Dillon and the nurses of Barrett Home Health and Hospice. These ladies helped make Sally's last years, days and hours comfortable, peaceful and full of laughter. Sally has been cremated and her ashes will be laid to rest in Independence.
