Tate Raymond of Wisdom, MT was born January 15, 2002 in Butte, Montana. He passed away August 7, 2023 in Jackson, MT from an ATV accident.
In his short time here, Tate lived a life full of adventure. His infectious laugh and fun loving personality won the hearts of all who knew him. From the time he was a young child, Tate knew no strangers, and enjoyed talking to everyone. He lit up the room with his big stories and even bigger laugh.
As a young boy, he had a wild imagination. Hours were spent playing make believe bull riding and creating his imaginary ranch. He loved being outdoors and put a million miles on his pedal bike riding with his little brother and cousins.
As he grew older, his interests included dirt bikes, working livestock, hunting, fishing, diesel trucks, rodeos, and girls. Tate also loved traveling and exploring. He had an adventurous spirit and was always willing to try anything once.
Tate attended elementary school in Wisdom, MT and graduated Beaverhead County High School in May 2020. After High School, Tate attended the University of Montana Western where he took courses in Ranch Management. After college, he began working as a ranch hand in the Big Hole Valley. “Cowboying” has always been his dream and his happiest moments were spent on the back of his horse.
Tate loved hard and was always willing to give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Children were drawn to him and he always took the time to play with them.
Tate was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin. He is survived by his parents, Jason and Desiree Raymond and Jamie Vanisko; siblings, Cole Raymond, Patsea Farrow, Gage (Rachael) Thompson, and Kanynn Vanisko; niece, Bexleigh Thompson; grandparents, Mark and Sherry Raymond, Kyle Bird and Lydia (Gary) Myllymaki; aunts and uncles, Lacey Raymond, Shelly and Cale Hemry, and Tammy Bird; and many cousins/friends.
“Until we see you again, Tate. We love you.”
