Thomas Reynolds

THOMAS J. REYNOLDS, 89 After an extended illness, Tom passed peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, one week from his 90 th birthday. Thomas was born on October 18, 1932 to Wallace and Wilburetta (Goyette) Reynolds in Butte, Montana. He was the third of 15 children. With 11 years of schooling, Tom was a jack of all trades and a master of most of them. He served his country as an Army Corporal from 1950-1952. After the service, his days were spent riding bulls and bareback, logging and mining. Later he worked for Pfizer, where he retired from in 1992. In 1957, Tom met the love of his life. He married Shirley Jean Perusich on June 21, 1958 and lived in Melrose, MT. They later moved to Dillon where they raised 5 children. T.J. (Gayleen), Colette, Donald (Renee), Bernadette (Raymond), and Lynette (Mike). Tom is survived by his 5 children, 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews. Dad was an avid hunter and fly fisherman. He also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. Whenever you asked for something, it was always “for a dollar” and he was always “finer than frogs hair.” Per Dad’s request, there will be no services. Dad and Mom will be laid to rest together at a later date with military honors. Donations in honor of Tom can be made to the donor’s choice.
