V. ARLENE HARVEY, 93 V. Arlene Harvey 93, went home to be with the Lord on September 23, 2021 in Cumberland Maryland. She was born May 28, 1928, the third of eight children born to the late Raleigh and Edna Wilt of Cumberland, MD. One sister and one brother survives. Judith Anne DeVore of Cumberland, and Gene (Sandra) Wilt of Lehigh Acres, Florida. Also surviving are the two children the Lord blessed Arlene and the late Calvin with. Carole Faye, retired from teaching, came back home to Dillon to live with her Mother. David (Claudia) Harvey reside in Twin Falls, Idaho. Grandchildren Jillian (Curtis) Kramer and Matthew Arrington. Great grandchildren are Elliot Arrington, Addison and Sophie Kramer, all of Idaho. Arlene graduated from Allegany High School in 1946 and the University of Montana-Western in 1965 with a BS Degree in Elementary Education. She taught third grade for ten years in the Dillon school system. After retiring from teaching, Arlene served as a missionary with Bearing Precious Seed for 18 years, ten of these with her late husband Calvin. Bearing Precious Seed is a Bible printing and distribution ministry of the First Baptist Church in Milford, Ohio. They print whole Bibles, New Testaments and John/Romans in many languages and sends them to missionaries around the world. Arlene loved to read, cook, bake and was always willing to share recipes. She was always happy when all the family could share time together. Arlene was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Dillon and a member of the Montana Retired Educators Association. Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 1st at 1:00 p.m. at the Mountain View Cemetery in Dillon.
