Van Stallman

Van Schuyler Stallman was born June 27, 1950 and died on December 27, 2016. In loving memory of our father, brother, grandfather and uncle. Dad (Papa) loved life. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and the NMLRA. He lived the majority of his life in Wise River on the Ranch where he was raised. He loved gun shows and rendezvous. We would like to thank Debbie Martin, Mike Davis and Eddie Kriner for helping us take care of dad. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Sherry, brother-in-law Kevan, grandson Andrew, parents Charlotte and Bud. Van is survived by his children; Veva (Sean) Larson, Kristi (Duane) Gregor, Samuel Sampson, Daniel (Misty) Sampson, Shawna (Matt) Meinke, Crystal, John and Jason Hunt, niece Jamie Dodd, nephews; Dwight (Melanie)May, and Jeff (Kim)Dodd, 27 grandchildren, one great grandchild, many other nieces, nephews and family members along with his loving companions Cookie and Sassy Cat. A Memorial Celebration will be held on Saturday, January 7th at 1:00 pm at the Church of the Big Hole with a Reception following at the Wise River Fire Hall. Contributions may be made to the Wise River Vol. Fire Dept, Church of the Big Hole or to Wise River School.
