Walter Hungate

Walter Marion Hungate died August 25th, 2016 in Bozeman Health Hospital. He was born in Dell, MT on December 10, 1937 to Beth “Goldie” Anderson and Walter Marion Hungate and was raised in Lima, MT. In 1956 he joined the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged in 1960. Walter was a Section Foreman and Inspector for Union Pacific Railroad and a local businessman. He built and owned Skyline Trailer Court and was owner of Hair Care Unlimited. He was an avid trap shooter and has many trophies to prove it. He enjoyed camping and golfing with friends. He also loved his gardening especially his tomatoes. He was preceded in death by his parents, his former wife Audrey, his sister, Rose and her husband Don. He is survived by his wife of 29 years Sheryll and his daughters; Lee, Mona and son; Todd, 10 stepchildren; Sharon (Larry), Sheila (Paul), Ronnie (Julie), Gary (Anna), Dale Allen also Jamie, Tim (Gayle), Tom (Karen), Julie (Kyle), Jeanne (Tom), nieces; Gina, Wendy, 23 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Services will be held Wednesday, August 31st, 2016 at 11 AM at Brundage Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at Mountain View Cemetery. A reception will be held at the family home at 755 Thomsen.
