William Robert “Joe” Foster passed away Friday, June 12, 2020 at Barrett Memorial Hospital in Dillon, with his children by his side. Joe was born March 18, 1940 in Pocatello, Idaho to Herbert and Martha Foster. Joe spent his entire 80 years in Lima, Montana. When Joe was in high school he was “set up” on a date with a cute red haired girl from Utah, named Camille Marriott. Joe and Camille were married on Oct 2, 1959. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this past October. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple. Joe was the complete Montana Cowboy. He loved everything Cowboy, even the Dallas Cowboys. He wrote in his journal each day, enjoyed talking on the phone to recap the days’ events and watching his Bigfoot programs on T.V. Joe is survived by his daughter Carma (Mike), son Curtis, four granddaughters Ashlee, Heather (Jax), Holly (Colton) and Kandee; four great-grandchildren Hunter, Gunner, Thorstein and Emma. His sister LaRae also survives. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herb and Martha, wife Camille, infant sister Mary, inlaws Emery and Helen and brothers in law John and Ernie. Graveside services for Mr. Foster will be held Saturday, June 20th at 11:00 AM at the Lima Cemetery, Lima, Montana. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday June 19th from 7 – 9 PM at the Brundage Chapel in Dillon.
