William Orr

William “Bill” Frank Orr, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, October 9, 2022, at home. Bill was born October 3, 1957, in Butte, Montana to Evelyn M. and Matthew J. Orr as the youngest of their boys. M.C. is brother is a year older. Bill was raised in Butte and later moved to Dillon where his father was Superintendent of Schools. Bill joined the army in 1976 and served in many locations. He was known to have worked on the railroad, in a mud & chemical plant and as a mechanic. He is a Mason and Past Master of Dillon Lodge. He had many friends every where he lived. He is survived by his son William Paul, his best friend Carly, and his brother M.C. Celebration of Life will be Monday, October 24th, beginning at 11:30 am, with Masonic services at 12:30 pm and military honors to follow. Bill’s ashes along with his faithful companion CD’s, will be placed in the Grasshopper Valley immediately following the Masonic service.
